4/7/2021 New Training Documents: The COVID–19 Bankruptcy Relief Extension Act of 2021, Pub. L. No. 117-5 (2021), extends for one year certain provisions amending the Bankruptcy Code included in the CARES Act, Pub. L. No. 116-136 (2020).  The Court has prepared a training document outlining the provisions in the CARES Act which are extended through to March 27, 2022. 

In addition, we are pleased to provide you with a link to an article “Cheat Sheet to COVID-19 Bankruptcy Provisions and Sunsets”, and a convenient chart, “Summary of COVID Bankruptcy Relief Provision”, authored by John Rao, an attorney with the National Consumer Law Center. 

3/1/2021 Notice Regarding New Director's Form and New Electronic Case Filing Event to Implement the Supplemental Proof of Claim for CARES Act Forbearance Claim.

2/8/21 New Training Document:  The Consolidated Appropriations Act (2021, Pub. L. No. 116-260) (“CAA”) was enacted on December 27, 2020.  The Act includes nine bankruptcy related amendments. See §§320, 1001, 134 Stat., at 2015, 3216.  The Court has prepared this training document outlining the amendments to the bankruptcy laws contained in the CAA, most of which sunset in one or two years.
