The current term of office of Brian K. Tester, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Puerto Rico, is due to expire on November 12, 2020. The United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit is considering reappointment of Judge Tester to a new term of office and has determined that he appears to merit reappointment subject to public notice and opportunity for public comment.  Members of the bar and the public are invited to submit comments for consideration by the Court of Appeals regarding the reappointment of Bankruptcy Judge Tester to a new term of office.  Comments must be received no later than Friday, March 6, 2020.  Please see the linked Public  Notice for complete details, including how to comment.
