Notice of Expiration of Certain Bankruptcy Related Provisions Contained in the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021
The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (CAA) amended the Bankruptcy Code in several respects to provide relief to individuals and business impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of these provisions expired on December 27, 2021.
Due to the expiration of certain CAA provisions, please note the following CM/ECF events and form will no longer be available:
- Event: Motion for Discharge Pursuant to Section 1328(i);

Event: Supplemental Proof of Claim for CARES Forbearance Claim
- Director’s Form 4100S “Supplemental Proof of Claim for CARES Forbearance Claim”
The Senate passed a bill to extend the deadline to March 27, 2022, however, the House has not yet taken up the bill, so it should be noted that Congress may still extend the deadline and make it retroactive.
