The C.A.R.E. program is designed to educate junior and senior high school students throughout Rhode Island in general financial subjects to prepare them for the financial responsibilities they will encounter as young adults. The program provides high school educators easy access to local volunteer lawyers and bankruptcy court employees who teach teens about the importance of using consumer credit wisely, avoiding credit card debt and the consequences that result from abusing credit.
If your school is interested in having a presentation of the CARE program given to your students, please fill out the Sign Up sheet below, and the CARE Coordinator will be in touch to schedule the program. The CARE program typically runs about one hour long and is best presented to a classroom of 30 or less students at a time. Multiple sessions can be given at a school.
